Scià' cari (cit.),
ho un notebook che monta un hdd da 500 gighi che ho però sostituito col mio ssd con linux. Purtroppo è solo da 120gb e vorrei tenermi comunque win7 per giochicchiare. C'è la possibilità di montare anche l'hdd? Leggevo dei caddy fatti a posta, ma non so. Avevo pensato anche di mettere 7 su disco esterno, ma poi mi sono vergognato :lkof:

Se non hai 2 slot dischi devi rinunciare all'unità ottica per montare 2 dischi.

Avevo pensato anche di rinunciare alla partizione dati e affidarmi solo al disco esterno per questo, però... du' palle :lkof:

Ammetto che se Steam avesse dato di scaricare e installare anche giochi di Windows su Linux con Wine ci avrei pensato, ma non è fattibile.

È facile, smonti il sotto del computer, c'è una vite con vicino il simbolo del cd, la sviti, sfili il lettore cd e al suo posto monti quel coso con dentro un hd da 2.5" sata.

La brutta notizia è che non vedo USB come opzione di boot :facepalm:

secondo me la cosa migliore è avere una unità ottica esterna usb, giusto in caso, e mettersi due dischi.

L'ottica esterna in cui mettere l'hdd? Ammetto però che potrebbe essere lento e comunque ho un disco esterno che dovrebbe essere la stessa cosa :pipp:

Scordati categoricamente USB1 XD
È lento con USB2, ma non so come possa reagire un USB3 e di sicuro è accettabile.

Al massimo puoi montare un secondo hard disk come consiglia buntolo al posto del CD ed usare l'unità ottica esterna su un USB2

Scordati categoricamente USB1 XD
È lento con USB2, ma non so come possa reagire un USB3 e di sicuro è accettabile.

Al massimo puoi montare un secondo hard disk come consiglia buntolo al posto del CD ed usare l'unità ottica esterna su un USB2

Entro domenica deciderò il da farsi, ma molto probabilmente farò proprio così :ysy:
Tengo Ubuntu e Windows sull'SSD e dati e/o qualche applicazione sull'HDD. Devo solo migrare Win7 da HDD a SSD per comodità (driver e cacchi vari) oppure lasciarlo lì dov'è.
Vedrò di recuperare il lettore/masterizzatore in qualche modo, magari proprio con qualche caddy con cavo USB.
